What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information AI Startoolkit collects when you use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this site only — not to the third-party vendor sites we link to or review.
Information you provide directly
When you submit our Contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry — a correction, a partnership request, a press question, or general feedback — and we don't add you to a mailing list or share it with the vendors we review.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server logs basic technical information on every request — IP address, browser user agent, and the page requested — for security and abuse-prevention purposes. When you submit the contact form, your IP address is stored in a hashed (one-way, non-reversible) form alongside the submission specifically to help us detect spam and abusive patterns, not to identify you personally.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile runs a brief automated check in your browser to confirm you're not a bot before a submission is accepted; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for how that specific check is handled on their end.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function — for example, keeping an administrator signed in to the editorial dashboard. We don't currently run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect it before any such cookies are set.
How we use information
We use the information described above to: respond to messages sent through the contact form; detect and prevent spam or abuse of the site; and maintain the basic security and reliability of the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Data sharing
We don't share your contact-form submissions with the AI tool vendors we review, with advertisers, or with data brokers. Limited technical information may be processed by infrastructure providers we rely on to run the site (such as our hosting provider and Cloudflare, for spam protection) strictly to provide those underlying services.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry and maintain a record of correspondence, after which they may be deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete information you've previously submitted (such as a past contact-form message). To make a request, reach out through our Contact page using the same email address you originally contacted us from, so we can verify the request.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site or applicable law changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page; continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal to websites you visit. Because there's no consistent technical standard yet for how sites should respond to that signal, we don't currently alter our data practices based on it — this policy describes the data we collect and how we use it regardless of whether a Do Not Track signal is present.
International visitors
This site is operated with United States-based infrastructure and vendors. If you're visiting from outside the United States, understand that any information you submit through the contact form may be processed and stored in a different country than the one you're located in, subject to the data-handling practices described throughout this policy.
